Khyati Pathak

Research Assistant Professor at TGen

Khyati Pathak is a seasoned researcher with extensive experience in biomarker development and mass spectrometry. Currently serving as a Research Assistant Professor at the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen) since January 2022, Khyati Pathak specializes in quantitative discovery metabolomics and proteomics for clinical studies. Past roles include Post Doctoral Research Associate at the Masonic Cancer Center, University of Minnesota, focusing on protein biomarkers for environmental genotoxicants, and Research Associate at the Indian Institute of Sciences, where Khyati Pathak worked on metabolite extraction and mass spectrometry-based sequencing of bioactive peptides. Khyati Pathak also contributed as a Junior Research Fellow at Sardar Patel University, researching endophytes' role in agriculture, and served as a Junior Scientific Officer at SICART, managing mass spectrometry facilities. Khyati Pathak holds a Master’s degree in Biochemistry and a Certificate in Regulatory Affairs from UCSC Extension.
