Milhan Moomen

Milhan Moomen is an accomplished professional in the field of civil engineering with extensive experience in academia and industry. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Research at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette since October 2022, Milhan previously worked as a System Performance Engineer at the South Carolina Department of Transportation from March 2020 to October 2022, focusing on developing and calibrating travel demand models. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral research role at the University of Wyoming and a graduate research assistantship, where research concentrated on improving truck safety on mountain passes. Milhan's engineering career began with a role as Project Engineer at the Ghana Highway Authority and as an Assistant Engineer at Wilhelm Construction Company Limited.
