Erin Kearney

Erin Kearney has a diverse range of work experience. Erin started their career as a Global Ambassador Intern at International Studies Abroad (ISA), where they helped students explore their study abroad interests and provided information about study abroad opportunities. Erin then worked at BRIDGE Healthcare Clinic as an HIV Counselor & Outreach Director, where they provided free HIV counseling and testing to low-income and uninsured patients. Erin also collaborated with other public health volunteers to plan outreach events and increase HIV testing awareness among USF students.

Erin later joined Suncoast Community Health Centers, Inc. as a Student Intern, where they contributed feedback and resources to improve outpatient services for underinsured and uninsured populations. Erin also applied system thinking principles to program planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Currently, Erin is working at TGH Urgent Care powered by Fast Track. Erin has held multiple roles within the company, including Medical Receptionist Team Lead, Front Office Supervisor, Office Supervisor, Project Manager, and currently serves as the Director of Operations. In their roles, Erin spearheaded various initiatives to improve patient experience, supported staff development, implemented safety measures in response to COVID-19, and led the digital and physical re-branding transformation of the company following a joint venture partnership with Tampa General Hospital.

Erin Kearney has a diverse education history. Erin first studied Chilean Spanish Language and Culture at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso. After that, they pursued a degree in Biology, General at the University of Kentucky. Erin then attended the University of South Florida, where they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, focusing on the Spanish language. Erin furthered their education at the University of South Florida by earning a Master's Degree in Healthcare Organization and Management, with a specialization in Health Policy and Management.

In addition to their academic achievements, Erin has obtained various certifications. Erin is a Certified in Public Health (CPH) by the National Board of Public Health Examiners (NBPHE). Erin also holds certifications in HIV/AIDS counseling and rapid testing, which were obtained from the Florida Department of Health in August 2014.
