Helder then became the Human Resources Manager, overseeing change management initiatives and coordinating with sales and operations teams. Helder was later appointed as the Business Development Manager, responsible for establishing the company's positive political visibility and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. After that, they joined British American Tobacco South Africa as a Business Development Project Manager and oversaw marketing and distribution projects. Following this, they served as the Marketing Director at BAT Angola, representing multiple companies as a permanent member of the Board of Directors. Helder refined the company's business structure and implemented successful strategic plans. Helder then moved to DDM - Distribuidora de Mercadorias, S.A. as the Commercial Director, where they achieved exceptional sales and marketing results and managed major clients.
