Adriana Citlali Ramírez

Adriana Citlali Ramírez, Ph.D. has a diverse and extensive work experience. Adriana Citlali currently holds the role of Chief Geophysicist and Senior Director Geophysical Technology, Imaging & EH MultiClient at TGS, where they oversee the global Imaging Geophysical Advisor team, the Interpretation team, and the Eastern Hemisphere Geophysical Project Manager team. Adriana Citlali has previously served as Chief Geophysicist and Technology Advisor for the Eastern Hemisphere's (Europe, Russia, Africa, Asia, Asia Pacific) business at TGS. Prior to joining TGS, they co-founded Caoba Investments DA.

Adriana has also held various positions at SEAM (SEG Advance Modeling Corporation), including Finance and Audit Committee Member, Chair of the Board of Directors, Vice Chair of the Board of Directors, and Member of the Board of Directors. Adriana Citlali has worked at Equinor and Statoil as a Specialist Exploration and Principal Geophysicist, respectively. Additionally, they have held roles as a Senior Research Geophysicist at PGS and a Research Scientist at Schlumberger, Western Geco Limited. Their work experience also includes a research assistant position at the University of Houston and geophysics internship roles at BP and Statoil Research Center.

Adriana Citlali Ramírez, Ph.D. has a strong educational background in physics and has obtained various certifications to enhance their business skills. Adriana Citlali completed their PhD in Physics from the University of Houston in 2007, and prior to that, they earned their M.Sc. in Physics from the same university. Adriana Citlali also holds a degree in Engineering with a specialization in Physics from Tecnológico de Monterrey.

In terms of professional development, Adriana is currently pursuing three programs at the Cambridge Judge Business School. These include the CTO Executive Programme, focusing on Technology, Business, and Strategy, the Business Analytics: Decision Making Using Data program, and the Strategic Thinking for the CXO program, both emphasizing Business Administration and Management.

To further enhance their business acumen, Adriana has obtained additional certifications. Adriana Citlali completed courses in Negotiation Foundations and Negotiation Skills through LinkedIn, and also earned a certification in Better Commercial Decisions from Harvard Business Publishing Corporate Learning in 2017.
