Chris Janson

Chris Janson is a seasoned commercial leader with extensive experience in the renewable energy and geo-intelligence sectors. Currently serving as the Commercial Manager for TGS New Energy Solutions in the APAC region, Chris is responsible for leading commercial and project engagements to accelerate the transition to renewable energy. Previously, Chris held the position of Business Development Director at Weatherzone, a DTN Company, where the focus was on driving growth in SaaS-based weather and operational intelligence products. Earlier roles at Fugro involved significant contributions to business development and strategy in the Metocean domain across Europe, Africa, and APAC. Chris's career began in recruitment, achieving recognition for business growth, and included early training in offshore navigation. Chris holds a BSc in Oceanography with Physical Geography from the University of Southampton.
