Irene Egset

Irene Egset is a Norwegian business executive who currently serves as the Director at TGS. Irene has previously held various positions at Statkraft, Posten Norge AS, and Sivilingeniør J. F. Knudtzen AS.

Egset began their career in 1991 as a senior advisor at Statoil. Irene then moved to Nera Satcom in 2000, where they served as Controller until 2005. Egset then became the Økonomisjef at Sivilingeniør J. F. Knudtzen AS before taking on the role of CFO at Statkraft Solar power from 2008 to 2010.

Irene returned to Statkraft in 2010, serving first as Senior Vice President Wind Power and Technologies Finance until 2014, then as Senior Vice President Financial Reporting, Accounting and Strategic Finance from 2014 to 2016. In 2016, Egset was promoted to Executive Vice President Corporate Staff, a position they held until 2018 when they were appointed as CFO. Irene has been with TGS since 2019.
