Kirsty Marais has a diverse work experience in the events and hospitality industry. Kirsty started their career as an Events Coordinator at Thaba Eco Hotel in 2006, where they focused on sales and client management. Kirsty then worked as an Events Manager at Finlay Events & Promotions, where they managed strategic planning, sponsorship proposals, and end-to-end event management. At Event Mechanics Pty Ltd, Kirsty served as a Director, contributing to the company's strategic vision and overseeing operational procedures. Kirsty later joined API Events as the Head of Operations, and most recently, they hold the position of Co-Chief Operating Officer and Chief Excellence Officer at Thaba Eco Hotel. Throughout their career, Kirsty has demonstrated leadership, strategic vision, and a strong ability to foster growth and effective communication in their teams.
