Junaid Aftab has a diverse range of work experience in the field of HR and Administration. Junaid Aftab started their career in 2008 at Midas Safety, where they worked as an Admin. & Personnel Manager, responsible for developing HR policies and leading a team. Junaid Aftab then moved on to Business & Engineering Trends as an Assistant Manager, where they developed HR policies and procedures and provided recruitment and training services.

In 2013, Junaid joined KARSAZ (PVT.) LTD as a Deputy Manager HR & Administration, where they provided comprehensive HR services and implemented HR strategies. Junaid Aftab then joined Thal Engineering in 2017 as a Manager HR/Admin and ER, handling various HR operations such as grievance handling, discipline enforcement, and industrial relations. Junaid Aftab also managed administrative and security activities.

In 2019, Junaid joined Thal Boshoku Pakistan (Private) Limited as the Head of HR, IR & Admin., where they were responsible for providing a comprehensive HR service including recruitment, employee relations, legal matters, and general administration. Junaid Aftab developed and implemented HR systems, labor laws policies, and procedures.

Currently, Junaid is working at Thal Engineering as the Head Employee and Industrial Relations. Their role involves managing employee relations, industrial negotiations, and developing HR strategies.

Throughout their career, Junaid has demonstrated their expertise in HR and administration, with a focus on developing and implementing policies and procedures, recruitment, employee relations, and general administrative functions.

Junaid Aftab obtained a Masters in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from Mohammad Ali Jinnah University (MAJU) from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Arts degree in Economics from Karachi University, attending from 2010 to 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Junaid Aftab also obtained several certifications. In August 2016, they completed a Professional Diploma in Labour Laws & Industrial Relations from the Pakistan Institute of Management. In January 2015, they obtained a certification in Strategic Planning of Human Resource Management & HR Metrics from the same institution. Junaid Aftab received a certification in Development of Future Leadership from Lahore University of Management Sciences in January 2017.

Junaid Aftab also has certifications in various areas of human resources and labor relations. These include certifications in Labour Laws and International Labor Organization Conventions & Recommendation, obtained in August 2013 from the National Institute of Labor Administration, and a certification in Social Accountabilty Standard SA 8000: 2008 from the National Institute of Labor Administration in September 2013.

Furthermore, they have certifications in Safety Standards, OHSAS 18001: 2007, Risk Assessment and OH&S Management System Auditing from the National Institute of Labour Economics Research and Development in March 2013. Junaid Aftab obtained a certification in Post Graduation of Labour Laws & Compliances from the National Institute of Labour Administration Training in April 2013.

In terms of more recent certifications, Junaid Aftab obtained a certification in Finance and Non Fianance Management from KSBL Executive Education in January 2019. Junaid Aftab also earned a certification as a Certified Professional in Human Resource Services from NED University of Engineering and Technology in May 2022.
