Lorenzo Simone

Lorenzo Simone has over two decades of work experience, primarily in the field of RF communication and satellite technology. Lorenzo is currently serving as the Head of Processing, Navigation & Power Products at Thales Alenia Space since 2021. Prior to this, they held various leadership positions at the same company, including Head of RF Communication Product Lines, Head of Radio-communication and TT&C Product Lines, Head of Integrated Communication Product Line, Head of Digital Transponder Product Line, and Focal Point for Integrated Equipment and Advanced Architectures. Lorenzo also worked as a Satellite Payload Engineer at Thales Alenia Space from 1998 to 2000. Before joining Thales Alenia Space, Lorenzo worked as a Firmware designer for bio-medical instrumentation at Metaltronica Spa in 1997.

Lorenzo Simone pursued their education with great dedication and completed their High School Diploma in Telecommunications Technology/Technician from ITIS G. Vallauri, where they studied from 1986 to 1991. Afterward, they went on to acquire a Master Degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Rome Tor Vergata, specializing in this field from 1991 to 1997.
