Luigi Longoni

Luigi Longoni is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the aerospace and defense sectors. Currently serving at THALES ALENIA SPACE since November 2008 as Management Support to the CEO and Vice President for Business Development & Institutional Customers, Luigi Longoni has been instrumental in exploring new markets for space assets, including oil detection, asteroid mining, and security applications. Prior to this role, Luigi Longoni was the Deputy Secretary General at ASD Aerospace & Defence Industry Association, and President & CEO at MARS Microgravity Advanced Research & Support Centre. With leadership positions at Alenia Spazio and involvement in various technology development and research initiatives throughout a career spanning over three decades, Luigi Longoni combines a strong technical background in mechanical engineering with an MBA from SDA Bocconi.
