Michelle Aubrun is an experienced Image Processing Engineer with a strong background in deep learning algorithms for remote sensing applications. Currently employed at IRT Saint Exupéry since February 2020, Michelle specializes in implementing advanced natural language and image processing techniques using TensorFlow and PyTorch on satellite data. Concurrently, Michelle has been working at Thales Alenia Space since January 2018, focusing on the development and optimization of deep learning algorithms for Earth Observation satellite data, utilizing technologies such as Docker and Dask. Previous roles include serving as a Teaching Assistant at Université de Montréal, data scientist with Effigis, and intern in geomatic research, showcasing a comprehensive skill set in remote sensing, data analysis, and engineering. Michelle holds a PhD in Remote Sensing from Université de Montréal and multiple master's degrees in Surveying Engineering and Photogrammetry.
