Ryan Grimes

Ryan Grimes is an Associate Mechanical Engineer at Thales Defense & Security, Inc. since May 2023. Prior experience includes serving as the Secondary CVT CAD Co-Lead for Terps Racing from September 2019 to May 2023, where work involved the design of a secondary pulley for a continuously variable transmission within the SAE Baja team. Additionally, Ryan completed a Mechanical Engineering Internship at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in summer 2022, focusing on optimizing the laser welding process of battery cells for power tools. Ryan holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, earned in May 2023.
