Daniele Tancredi

Daniele Tancredi is an experienced Aerospace Engineer currently employed at Odyssey Space Research, LLC since January 2018, focusing on the development, testing, and assessment of flight software and simulation tools for Orion's manual control, particularly in Rendezvous, Proximity, and Docking operations. Previously, Daniele worked as a Quality Engineer at The MathWorks from February 2012 to January 2018, specializing in quality controls and testing for the Simulink core engine, emphasizing Model Reference and Automated Code Generation. Daniele began their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at West Virginia University from May 2009 to December 2011, conducting research on fault-tolerant control laws for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles with support from NASA through the EPSCoR program. Daniele holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from West Virginia University and two degrees in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino.
