Jim Nystrom

Jim Nystrom is the Vice President of Digital Aviation at Thales, a position held since January 2013, where responsibilities include establishing a digital aviation business practice in the Americas and driving growth through the sale of software, hardware, and digital services to the airline community. Prior to this role, Jim Nystrom served in various leadership positions at Thales, including Senior Director of Account Management and Director of Account Management for the Americas. Earlier experience includes significant roles at America West Airlines and Boeing, where responsibilities ranged from technical purchasing to business analysis. Jim Nystrom holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with an accounting concentration from the University of Washington and an MBA in Aviation from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
