Rowan Farmer

Rowan Farmer is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Engineering Operations Manager and Engineering Data Lead at Thales since September 2020, following participation in the company's Engineering Graduate Scheme. Previously, Rowan completed a year-long secondment as Design Engineer and Vehicle Integration Engineer at Williams Advanced Engineering, focusing on electric power systems. Significant early career experiences include managing a formula student team at the University of Liverpool Motorsport, engaging in a lean manufacturing course at Jaguar Land Rover, and designing a buoyancy module during a dissertation project with Trelleborg Offshore. Rowan holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Engineering from Cranfield University and an Integrated Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Liverpool.
