Stephanie Baker

Stephanie Baker is a seasoned professional in energy and carbon management, currently serving as Head of Net Zero at Thames Water since May 2015. Baker has spearheaded the development of comprehensive strategies to reduce energy consumption and achieve net zero carbon emissions, while also overseeing commercial energy management operations. Previous roles include interim Head of Energy and Carbon, Executive Business Manager, and Customer Metering Manager, where Baker led significant projects such as the installation of over 300,000 smart meters and transformative customer experience initiatives. Earlier experience at Thames Water includes leadership in streetworks performance and change management to enhance organizational efficiency. Baker also contributed to the operational readiness for the London 2012 Olympic Games and has a scientific background as a Field Application Scientist. Baker holds a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science from the University of East Anglia and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Sustainability Studies at Coventry University.
