Shelly Cox

Shelly Cox is part of the senior management staff as Tharp’s Financial Controller. Responsible for all accounting functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management, financial reporting, payroll reporting, job costing and sales tax, along with special projects. During her 30 years in accounting, Shelly has worked in various industries from electronics manufacturing as CFO to media & publishing as Senior Finance Manager. Her special interest is in increasing profitability by streamlining processes using technology and software.

Shelly received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, earned her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in California, and her MBA from Colorado State University.
