Max Dyckhoff has a strong background in engineering and AI, with experience at various gaming companies. Max is currently the Director of Engineering at That's No Moon. Before that, they worked at Naughty Dog as a Lead AI Engineer and Engineer. Prior to Naughty Dog, they were a Senior Engineer II at Blizzard Entertainment. Max also worked as an AI Engineer at Bungie Studios and Microsoft, and as a Software Engineer at Free Radical Design.

Max Dyckhoff attended the University of York from 1999 to 2003. Max obtained an MEng degree in Computer Systems and Software Engineering during this time.
