Michael Frenkel

Michael Frenkel is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in travel technology and public relations. Currently serving as Principal at Travel Conversations LLC and President at MFC PR, Michael has advised global travel brands, venture capital firms, and startup companies on market readiness and strategic communications. In addition, Michael holds positions as Entrepreneur In Residence at the Pillsbury Institute for Hospitality Entrepreneurship, Board of Advisors member for The Hospitality Show, and Marketing Partner at Thayer Ventures, where efforts are focused on innovation in the travel and hospitality industry. Previous roles include Vice President at Edelman PR, public relations manager at Cendant Corporation, and Founding Executive Director of the Community Relations Institute of Hawaii. Michael holds a B.A. and M.A. in Political Theory from the University of Chicago, a JD from Boston University School of Law, and has been recognized as a Berrie Fellow.
