Terri Rupar

Terri Rupar is a seasoned political editor with extensive experience in journalism, currently serving as Political Editor at The 19th since January 2021. In this role, Terri collaborates with a team of reporters to cover the intersection of gender, politics, and democracy. Prior to this, Terri spent over 12 years at The Washington Post, where responsibilities included coordinating and editing national political coverage, leading digital projects, and launching mobile apps focused on elections. Terri holds a degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where studies were completed between 1999 and 2003.
