James Stevens has a diverse work experience in the education sector. James worked as the Head of Digital Learning at The Abbey School in Reading since August 2021. Prior to that, they were a Form Teacher and Computing and Digital Learning Coordinator at the same school from September 2017 to August 2021. Before joining The Abbey School, James served as a Form Teacher and Chair Teaching & Learning Community at Dulwich College Seoul from August 2014 to August 2017. James also worked as a Form Teacher at St. Andrews International Schools in Thailand from August 2012 to August 2014, where they collaborated with inquiry teachers from around the world. James began their teaching career as a Year 5 Teacher at THE BOURTON MEADOW EDUCATION TRUST from September 2010 to August 2012.

James Stevens completed their Post Graduate Certificate of Education at Oxford Brookes University from 2009 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Geography BA from the University of Leeds.
