Beth Newman

Beth Newman is an experienced digital content leader currently serving as the ABC Sport Digital Content Lead at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation since July 2022. Previously, Beth held the position of Social Media Editor at The Sydney Morning Herald, where strategic management of social media execution and mobile notifications for a large audience was key. With a strong background in sports journalism, Beth has worked with RUGBY.com.au as both Editor and Journalist, covered various sports for the Brisbane Times, and served as a Community Football Writer with AFL Queensland Limited. Education includes a degree in Journalism from The University of Queensland.
