Carmel Rooney

Carmel Rooney has extensive experience in the media industry, currently serving as the Executive Producer for "Conversations with Richard Fidler and Sarah Kanowski" at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) since June 2012. Carmel has held several marketing management roles within ABC, including positions focused on regional and local marketing and ABC Radio. Prior experience includes serving as an Industry Consultant at The University of Queensland and as a Marketing Project Manager at ABC. Early career highlights include a role as Publicist at Queensland Theatre Company. Carmel holds an Honours degree in Business Communication from Queensland University of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in Media Production and History and Literature from Griffith University.
