Penelope Pak McMillen is an accomplished education leader currently serving as the Senior Director of Formal Learning at the KIPP Foundation and as a Consultant for The Ability Challenge. Penelope also holds the position of Vice Chair on the Board of Directors for Invictus Nashville Charter School. Previously, Penelope directed program services at Instruction Partners, where a focus was placed on building school leadership capacity and promoting high-quality instructional practices. Throughout a diverse career, Penelope has held consultancy roles with organizations such as Transcend and Gradient Learning, emphasizing the implementation of effective educational strategies across numerous schools and districts. Penelope's extensive educational background includes a Master’s degree in English Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and multiple Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Mass Communications from the University of California, Berkeley.
