Emily Forehand

Emily Forehand has extensive experience in event management and organizational leadership, currently serving as Senior Director at The Health Management Academy since June 2014. Emily has held various positions within the Academy, including Executive Fellow, Senior Director of Events, and Director of Meeting Services. Prior to this role, Emily worked at Inova Health System as a Development Specialist for Special Events and held multiple positions at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, including Campaign Coordinator and Campaign Assistant. Emily began a career in public affairs as a Student Assistant at James Madison University's Office of Public Affairs and completed an Event Management Internship at Inova Health System. Emily earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies with a focus on Human Resource Development from James Madison University in 2010.
