Joan Evans

Joan Evans, MBA, PCC, NCC, is an accomplished independent consultant with a focus on executive coaching, leadership training, and organizational development through Joan Evans Coaching & Consulting since January 2008. In addition to this, Joan serves as an Executive in Residence at The Health Management Academy since February 2021. Previously, Joan held several key leadership positions at Cone Health, including Chief of Staff to the CEO, where responsibilities included advancing the CEO's agenda and advising the Enterprise Leadership Team. As Executive Vice President of Innovation & Transformation, Joan was responsible for transforming health care delivery to a patient-centered, value-based model, while serving as Vice President and Chief Learning Officer, overseeing a cultural transformation process aimed at achieving high performance in service and quality. Joan holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University.
