Kenneth Barnes

Kenneth Barnes is a dedicated physical education professional currently serving as a Physical Education Teacher at The Academy Charter School since August 2023. Prior to this role, Kenneth gained experience as a Substitute Teacher in the Bay Shore Union Free School District from January 2023 to August 2023, and worked as an Inventory Specialist at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center from May 2016 to August 2023. Kenneth's earlier experience includes a position as a Senior Counselor at the YMCA of Greater New York from June 2013 to August 2015. Educationally, Kenneth holds a Master of Science in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching from Hofstra University, earned between 2019 and 2022, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from SUNY Oneonta, completed from 2013 to 2015.
