Carmen Ramos

Carmen Ramos has extensive experience in educational leadership and teaching, currently serving as Principal at The Accelerated Schools since July 2019, after holding the role of Assistant Principal there. Prior to this, Carmen was an Assistant Principal and Teacher at Camino Nuevo Charter Academy from July 2013 to June 2019. Additionally, Carmen worked as a Teaching Policy Fellow with Teach Plus from June 2014 to December 2015 and spent several years in various teaching roles at the NYC Department of Education from August 2009 to July 2013. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Education with a focus on Principal Leadership from UCLA, a Master’s in Bilingual Special Education from The City University of New York, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Spanish from the University of Southern California.
