Dr. Susan Klumpner serves as the Associate Director of Field Education at the University of Chicago Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice, where responsibilities include coordinating field placements for Master of Social Work students and providing professional development. In addition, Dr. Klumpner holds the position of Adjunct Professor, teaching courses on social intervention and program evaluation. As Executive Director and Co-Founder of The ACE Project, Dr. Klumpner oversees strategic planning, program implementation, and partnerships with various organizations. Dr. Klumpner's prior roles include teaching at the University of Michigan and the University of Maryland, Baltimore, where recognition such as the Dean’s Teaching Award was received. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, an MA in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago, and a BA in Psychology from Grinnell College.
