Previously, Karla Acosta worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Houston and as a Food Safety Specialist, managing food service sanitation inspection programs. The educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Hospitality Administration with a focus on Food Safety Training Research, a Master of Science in Hospitality Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management, all obtained from the University of Houston.
