Kate McInnes, M.Sc., is a highly experienced professional in food safety and quality management with a demonstrated history of leadership in various roles. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Food Safety at The Acheson Group since November 2022, Kate previously held significant positions at Entomo Farms as FSQA Manager and at Diatom Professional Consulting and Training Ltd. as a Food Safety Consultant, where expertise in quality systems, GFSI standards, and product development was honed. Additional experience includes quality management at Central Smith, metallurgical technology roles at ORE+PROS Inc. and SGS, and teaching assistance at Trent University. Kate holds a Master of Science in Environmental and Life Sciences and an Honors Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science, supplemented by foundational education in Geosciences from McMaster University.
