Laurie Fleishman Walowitz has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Laurie Fleishman started their career as the Director of Marketing and Promotion at WBAL Radio from 1990 to 1996. Laurie Fleishman then served as the Corporate Relations Director for the Maryland Region and later became the Executive Director for the Denver Region at the American Cancer Society between 2004 and 2009.

Following their tenure at the American Cancer Society, Laurie worked as a Ski Instructor at Loveland Ski Area in 2009 and also served as a Teacher at Congregation Beth Evergreen during the same time period.
