Sean Harrington

Sean is an operational executive with a proven track record building high-growth businesses. He has spent the last 15+ years in leadership roles at leading companies in energy efficiency, electrification of transportation, new mobility, and smart city technology.

Most recently Sean was CEO of Optimus Ride, an autonomous mobility technology company providing all-electric, shared rides for campuses and communities.

Previously he served as Vice President of City Solutions at Verizon where he led product management, engineering, and operations for the smart communities business. He joined Verizon through the acquisition of Sensity Systems, a pioneer in the category of smart lighting and sensing, where he served as Chief Operating Officer and Board Director. Prior to that Sean led sales / business development for Opower and established its west coast office.

Sean holds a BS in Geomatics Engineering from the University of Calgary and an MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business.
