Cora Schipa

Cora Schipa is a dedicated writing mentor currently volunteering with WriteGirl, providing support to teenage girls and gender-expansive individuals. Cora's diverse experience includes serving as a prose reader for The Adroit Journal, a digital editorial intern at Garden & Gun Magazine, and a reservationist and social media manager for Walks of Charleston LLC. Additional roles encompass project intern work for Black Lawrence Press, social media executive chair for Planned Parenthood Generation Action at the College of Charleston, and writing for Cora's Campus Media. Cora's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in Creative Writing and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the College of Charleston, alongside a high school diploma in Creative Writing from Charleston County School of the Arts.
