Jacob Rome

Jacob Rome possesses extensive experience in engineering and project leadership within the aerospace sector, currently serving as a Senior Project Leader at The Aerospace Corporation since January 2002, with a focus on structural analysis and composites research. Prior to this, Jacob co-founded Citizens for Outdoor Recreation & Exercise (CORE) to enhance recreational opportunities in the South Bay community of Los Angeles, notably advocating for the reopening of Sand Dune Park and supporting various local events. Educationally, Jacob holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan. Additionally, experience includes roles as a Research Assistant and Engineer early in the career.
