James Greer

James Greer is a highly experienced professional in the fields of science and technology, engineering, and military operations. Currently serving as a Science and Technology Advisor and Director of the System of Systems Engineering Office at The Aerospace Corporation, James has a history of leadership within various organizations, including NATO as Division Head for Operations and Coordination, where management of a team of 18 international S&T professionals was pivotal. Previous roles include Military Assistant and Deputy to the Air Force Chief Scientist for the USAF, and advisor positions for the Afghan Ministry of Counter Narcotics and Afghan Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development. With a solid educational foundation that includes a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, James also held significant positions at the Air Force Research Laboratory, the US Air Force Academy, and the USAF’s C-17 Developmental Test Program.
