Ben Taylor

Ben Taylor is a highly experienced Consultant Trauma Resuscitation Anaesthetist currently working at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust since February 2016, providing expert anaesthesia for complex cases and emergency scenarios. In addition to this role, Ben serves as a Medical Examiner, providing mentorship in death certification processes. Ben also contributes as an ACCOTS Critical Care Transfer Doctor at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust and leads as the Doctor Governance Lead with Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, alongside extensive experience as a HEMS Doctor with both Midlands Air Ambulance Charity and The Air Ambulance Service. Furthermore, Ben holds a position as an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at Keele University and has a distinguished military career with the British Army as a Consultant Anaesthetist and previously in various medical officer roles. Educational qualifications include a Fellowship from the Royal College of Anaesthetists and a Diploma in Immediate Medical Care from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
