Ahlam Ayyad

Ahlam Ayyad, Pharm.D., currently serves as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System and as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Xavier University of Louisiana, both positions held since August 2020. Ahlam is also a Fellow For Life with The Albert Schweitzer Fellowship, working on an educational intervention program aimed at addressing substance use and abuse among adolescents in New Orleans, which includes parent education on drug and alcohol misuse and mental health awareness. Prior experience includes completing a Pharmacy Practice Residency at East Jefferson General Hospital and working as a Pharmacy Intern at CVS Pharmacy. Ahlam earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Xavier University of Louisiana in 2019.
