Keeley Watts Chartered McIpd

Keeley Watts Chartered MCIPD has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various industries. Keeley is currently the Head of HR at The Alchemist Bar & Restaurant Ltd. Before that, they worked as a Blogger and Owner of The Hungry Hodophile, a food and travel blog. Keeley also held the role of HR Manager at Joseph Holt Ltd.

In their previous role as an HR Caseworker at Greater Manchester Police, Keeley supported managers with complex HR issues and managed the end-to-end process of HR-related matters. Keeley was also responsible for assessing candidates for Police Officer and Police Staff vacancies.

Keeley has also worked at The Open University as a Senior Practitioner Fellow, where they researched drivers and barriers to change in Police Learning and Development Functions. Keeley contributed to research and collaborated with a team to write a comprehensive literature review.

Additionally, Keeley has experience as an HR Admin Temp at Mouchel, providing first-line HR advice and handling various HR tasks. Keeley also worked as a Team Manager at New Charter Housing Trust, leading a team of advisors and managing the day-to-day operations of a contact center.

Earlier in their career, Keeley held multiple roles at Greater Manchester Police, including Call Handling Supervisor, Learning and Development Support Manager, Communications Supervisor, Communications Officer, and Data Input Officer.

Keeley began their career at Barclays, where they worked as a Contact Centre Advisor and Branch Cashier.

Keeley Watts Chartered MCIPD completed their education in a chronological order. In 1992 to 1998, they attended The Kingsway School. Keeley then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and Professional Development at The University of Huddersfield from 2010 to 2013. In 2006 to 2008, they obtained a Professional Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education and Teaching from The University of Bolton. In 2008, they received a Certificate in Project Management from APM.

In 2014, they enrolled in Tameside College and earned a CIPD Level 5 Diploma in Human Resources Management and Services. During the same year, they attended the Emerging Leaders Programme at North West Employers. In 2012, Keeley completed a Certificate in Coaching from PB Coaching.

Keeley furthered their education at The Manchester Metropolitan University, where they attained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, they obtained a CIPD Level 7 HR Management certification from The Manchester Metropolitan University in June 2019 and a CIPD Level 5 in HR Management certification from CIPD in August 2015.
