Earlier in their career, Tonya held the position of Operations and Program Director at CASA of Tarrant County, leading the organization's program-related services and driving significant growth and volunteer retention. Prior to their work in the nonprofit sector, they worked as a Reprographics Supervisor at Siemens. With their diverse experience and expertise, Tonya has consistently demonstrated their commitment to making a positive impact in their professional roles.
Tonya Hitschmann attended Texas Christian University from 2011 to 2013, where they studied TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention) Trauma-Informed Care. Prior to that, they attended The University of Texas at Arlington from 1989 to 1991, where they studied Political Science and Government. Tonya also holds additional certifications in Strategic and Trusted Advisor-Level 3, both from Dale Carnegie Training.
