Tonya Hitschmann has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Tonya is currently the Managing Director of Care Services at The ALS Association, where they lead the organization's efforts in providing assistance and support to individuals living with ALS. Prior to this, Tonya worked as a Principal at Meraki Business Group, a consulting firm that focuses on strategic business development and digital marketing. Tonya also served as the Blue Zones Project Fort Worth Senior Community Relations Manager at Sharecare, where they played a key role in improving community well-being. Earlier in their career, Tonya held the position of Operations and Program Director at CASA of Tarrant County, leading the organization's program-related services and driving significant growth and volunteer retention. Prior to their work in the nonprofit sector, they worked as a Reprographics Supervisor at Siemens. With their diverse experience and expertise, Tonya has consistently demonstrated their commitment to making a positive impact in their professional roles.
Tonya Hitschmann attended Texas Christian University from 2011 to 2013, where they studied TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention) Trauma-Informed Care. Prior to that, they attended The University of Texas at Arlington from 1989 to 1991, where they studied Political Science and Government. Tonya also holds additional certifications in Strategic and Trusted Advisor-Level 3, both from Dale Carnegie Training.
