Terry Heiman-Patterson has a vast and extensive work experience in the field of Neurology. Terry began their career in 1978 at the University of Pennsylvania as a Neuromuscular Fellow. Terry then joined Hahnemann University Hospital in 1982 as an Assistant Professor of Neurology. In 1988, they moved to Thomas Jefferson University as an Associate Professor of Neurology. In 1996, they joined Drexel University College of Medicine as a Professor of Neurology, where they stayed till 2016. Later in 1999, they founded the ALS Hope Foundation and became its President and Co-Founder. Currently, they are working at Temple University School of Medicine as a Professor of Neurology since 2016.
