Janet Busey

Janet Busey is an accomplished professional in the field of radiology with extensive experience in research management and innovation. Currently serving as the Director of Imaging Analytics at the American College of Radiology since July 2022, Busey previously held several positions at the University of Washington from August 2006 to July 2022, including Assistant Director of Research in the Department of Radiology. Busey's leadership in clinical trials and project management is highlighted by the oversight of the OncoRadiology database and the development of a 3D printed radiotherapy bolus. As a Research Manager, Busey utilized advanced imaging techniques to assess tumor response across numerous oncology clinical trials, while also serving as an expert in response criteria. Earlier roles included leading research projects on advanced imaging modalities such as CT, MRI, and PET.
