Managing Director FOR Public Policy & Federal Affairs at The American Institute of Architects

Anne Law has extensive experience in government relations and policy advocacy. Anne currently serves as the Managing Director for Public Policy & Federal Affairs at The American Institute of Architects (AIA). In their previous role as the Senior Director for Public Policy at AIA, they built out the organization's public policy department and developed formal processes for updating policies and soliciting stakeholder feedback. Prior to joining AIA, Anne worked as the Director of State & Local Policy, where they collaborated with industry partners and government officials to advance the organization's policy priorities. Before joining AIA, Anne served as the Director of Government Relations at the American Bird Conservancy, where they led various bird conservation initiatives and secured significant federal appropriations for conservation programs. Anne also has experience as a Policy Counsel at Rapoza Associates, where they supported clients in executing their policy advocacy agendas and lobbying for federal appropriations.

Anne Law's education history includes a Juris Doctor degree from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Economics and Business Management from Cornell University. Additionally, they obtained certification as Admitted to the District of Columbia Bar in 2006 from the DC Bar.
