Mirangela Buggs

Mirangela Buggs serves as the Director of Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Equity at the American School in London since July 2021. With extensive experience in multicultural organizational development, Buggs has held roles such as Independent Consultant since June 2004 and Director of Equity and Diversity Engagement at Dwight-Englewood School from July 2017 to July 2021. Previous positions include Director of Multicultural Affairs at Germantown Friends School, Adjunct Instructor in Intergroup Dialogue at Widener University, and various teaching roles at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and Rowan University. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Education focusing on Social Justice Education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, a Master's degree in Gender Studies from The New School for Social Research, and a Bachelor's degree in Women's Studies from Friends World College/Long Island University.
