Austin T. Jones

Austin T. Jones, MD, PhD, is an Emergency Medicine Resident at Denver Health since June 2021, with a distinguished background in public health and tropical medicine. Jones has served as a Clinical Student/Trainee Leader at the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene since May 2018, focusing on mentorship and knowledge dissemination in tropical medicine. Jones conducted research as a Graduate Student Researcher at Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, assessing interventions for infectious disease care. Previous experiences include an internship with the World Health Organization on Ebola preparedness, a TL1 Predoctoral Scholar fellowship at the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences evaluating hepatitis C screening in emergency departments, and managing community health education at Floating Doctors.
