Mahmoud Allam

Mahmoud Allam is an experienced academic and business leader, currently serving as Dean and Interim Dean of the School of Continuing Education at The American University in Cairo since June 2023, as well as the Senior Advisor to the Provost for Continuing Education. Over a distinguished career spanning several decades, Mahmoud Allam has been the Owner of Metaco-Egypt since 1995, representing international companies in high voltage testing and measurement products. Previously, as the Founding President of The Knowledge Hub Universities, Mahmoud Allam led the institution hosting Coventry University Branch in Egypt. Academic roles have included positions at Nile University, The American University in Cairo, the French University in Egypt, and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, with a strong focus on engineering and computer science. Mahmoud Allam holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and additional degrees from Cairo University, along with professional development from IESE Business School.
