Nesrin Sobhy Ahmed

Nesrin Sobhy Ahmed, MBA, currently serves as the Lead for Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning at The American University in Cairo since April 2023, overseeing a newly established unit aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of AUC's initiatives through data-driven insights. Prior to this role, Nesrin served as a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Advisor for the USAID Egyptian Pioneers project, and held various managerial positions in monitoring and evaluation at the Institute of International Education and The American University in Cairo. With extensive experience in both consulting and workforce development initiatives, Nesrin has collaborated with numerous organizations, including the Drosos Foundation and Save the Children UK, to implement comprehensive monitoring systems and support project performance assessments. Nesrin holds two Master's degrees in Business Administration with a focus on Project Management and a Bachelor's degree in Arts from Cairo University.
