Yasmin Hormaza

Yasmin Hormaza is a licensed veterinary technician at The Animal Medical Center since June 2002, providing medical treatments to animals under veterinary supervision and advising clients on chronic care and post-operative practices. Prior experience includes serving as a nursing assistant at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center from May 2014 to August 2015, where responsibilities involved assisting patients with personal hygiene and daily living activities. Yasmin also participated in the CAP program at the same institution, offering basic patient care and monitoring vital signs within the surgical advanced care unit. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Long Island University (2013-2015) and an Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology from LaGuardia Community College (1999-2001).
