Stamatis Zampetakis

Stamatis Zampetakis is an accomplished software engineer and researcher with extensive experience in the field of computer science. Currently serving as a member of The Apache Software Foundation since February 2019, Stamatis holds multiple roles including Calcite PMC Chair and Hive committer. In addition, Stamatis works at Cloudera as a Staff Software Engineer since May 2020. Previous positions include R&D Engineer at TIBCO Orchestra Networks and various teaching roles at École Polytechnique and IUT d'Orsay. Stamatis completed a Research Doctorate in Computer Science at Paris-Sud University and has a strong research background including a focus on efficient algorithms for Semantic Web data management.
